Nerinx Latin Club Wins Again

On Feb. 25, 2007, for the second year in a row, the Nerinx Hall Latin Club took the honors at the four-school Toga Party. This event is a celebration of Latin students from SLUH, Cor Jesu, St. Joseph's Academy, and Nerinx.
In the 2006 competition each school performed an original skit. Nerinx's winner was a lively combination of mythology, Harry Potter, and the Ninja Turtles.
A Trivia Contest formed the 2007 competition. The questions were about Roman history and Latin literature.

Pictured above are members of the 2007 winning team wearing the SLUH Latin t-shirts awarded to the victors. Michelle Currie is holding the 2006 award. With her are Alison Driscoll, Lindsey Merz, and Jessica Tuberty. Team members not pictured here are Emma Kenyon and Ann Shipley.
